Safety and security of the children in our care are of paramount importance. Whether the children are playing, dining, resting etc, they will be under constant supervision.
Our building has been designed to the highest standards and the toys and equipment we use are age appropriate and has ECC/British Standards approval.
C.C.T.V. Monitored Inside and Out
All of our grounds are well secured with access only through the main door. Each of our 5 main rooms are covered by CCTV with another 7 covering the grounds. Hard disk recordings are kept for 3 months for your peace of mind. We hope this can in a way show you how confident we are in our team and what they do.
Finger-Print Entry System
A NEW fingerprint security system is in place to provide top-level safety for children being collected from the nursery. Anyone arriving to pick-up a child must first pass the fingerprint test before the child will be allowed to leave. This replaces the signing-out system still in common use by many other crèches and nurseries. Only parents, family members and friends who have previously recorded their fingerprint will be allowed to collect their children.
In the event of an emergency where a child cannot be collected by a fingerprinted relative or friend, then we still have a password procedure. This password is specific to every child, but parents would still be contacted by phone before the child is released.
Please note that whilst recording your fingerprint, no actual record of your fingerprint will be kept on file, as it will be allocated a specific code which cannot be traced/converted back to your actual print.
